I love Hazel and my garment is great, but I changed my mind. Can I return it?

Yes! We are happy to supply a full refund, less all shipping costs, within 15 days of the date we shipped your order. Refunds can only be given for merchandise returned in unworn condition. Simply email us at order(at)ancientchineZesecret.com and let us know what you would like to return. Please provide your invoice number, full name and address in your email. We will supply you with a return code which must accompany your shipment. Please print out this code and include it with your returned shipment. Please be aware that all shipping costs are your responsibility and we cannot provide refunds for damaged goods.

Can I exchange my item?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges at this time. If you decide you want a different item, follow the instructions for returns, then simply place a new order for the new item(s) on our site. You will receive a full refund for your original order once we receive it, less shipping costs.

Whoops! I meant to order the yoga pants, not the tank top, what should I do?

Please contact us immediately at order(at)ancientchineZesecret.com so that we can try to rectify your order before it is shipped. Inform us of the changes you would like to make, and we will do everything that we can to correct your order so that you receive the right item(s). If the total of the items you want to add or change is higher than your original order, we will send you a request for the outstanding amount through Paypal; if the amount of your changed order is less than your original order, once your original payment has cleared with Paypal, we will issue you a refund for the difference. Please understand that we strive to get your order fulfilled as quickly as humanly possible, and that your order may be processed before we receive your email to make any changes.

I love Hazel so much, but I need to cancel my order for now. Is it too late?

It is not too late, if your order has not been shipped. We will submit a full refund, shipping included, once the funds submitted have cleared with PayPal, which can take up to five (5) days, but is generally less. After the funds have cleared, we are happy to cancel your order and send you a full refund less any transaction fees.

I’m bummed! My hoodie has a tear! What should I do?

We guarantee the quality of our items and perform a rigorous inspection of your order before it is shipped out, so it is unlikely that your garment will arrive in anything but perfect shape. But we do understand that accidents happen, which is why we want you to be happy with the order that you originally placed. Please be aware that we do not offer refunds or credits for damaged items. In the unusual event that an item arrives to you damaged we will send you a new one, shipping of the replacement item on the house! We cannot replace a damaged item with an item that is different and we cannot replace the same item in one size with the same item in a different size. The replacement item must be the same as the item originally ordered, including the size. Simply send us the unworn, damaged item within 15 days of the date we ship the item to you, and we will send you a new item of the same kind in the same size. Finally, we cannot replace damaged items that have already been worn, or exceed the 15 day grace period for returns and replacements.

Hey Hazel, what else do I need to know before I place my order?

Please know that we do not replace items, or accept returns after the 15 day return period specified under any circumstance, and that all shipping costs are your responsibility. All returned shipments must include a return code and invoice number or we reserve the right to refuse your return.

We strive to ship your item within four (4) days of receipt of your order, usually less, or when funds have cleared your PayPal account. If for any reason there is a delay in your order, we will email you promptly.

Because our company is still so small, we are unable to offer price adjustments at this time for items that may go on sale after your purchase. Please place your email address on our mailing list so that you will be informed of any upcoming sales or promotions.

Closeouts and sale items are not returnable. They are a sweet deal, but they are FINAL SALE, so please email us with any questions you might have about these items at questions(at)ancientchineZesecret.com before placing your order.

Care Instructions

For screen printed or embroidered apparel: Turn items inside-out before laundering, and avoid high temperatures as you wash and dry. Ideally, to prolong the life of your printed or embroidered garment (any printed or embroidered garment, not just ours), we advise cold water wash on the gentle cycle and hanging dry or using a cool setting on the dryer. Of course, front loading washers without an agitator is always easiest on garments.

Privacy Policy

Personal information is gathered by Ancient ChineZe Secret during the order check out process and when inquiries are sent to our email addresses. While the information collected is used primarily to process and ship your order, we do reserve the right to add your email address to our mailing list. But don’t fret! We budget our updates and online circulations because we agree that spam is a horrible invention of the internet. We will only keep you posted of sales, product additions, or events that we truly think you will be interested in.
